Frequently asked

The things people ask most. Anything else — WhatsApp or DM us, we're friendly.

Why are the portraits drawn faceless?+
It’s our signature style — and completely intentional. Every Sticky Minks portrait is drawn faceless: soft, timeless and about the feeling of a moment rather than exact features. It’s a big part of why our portraits are so loved as gifts. So you know exactly what to expect before you order: your portrait will not have facial features.
How do I pay, and when?+
By EFT, and only afterMinks confirms your order and final price with you. Nothing is charged upfront (except sometimes for very large orders, which we’d discuss with you first). Banking details are sent to you privately at that point.
What does “from R__” or “estimated total” mean?+
Some options — like a drawn-in background, framing, or custom label sizes — depend on the detail involved, so we show an estimate. Because every order is request → confirm → pay, your final price is always confirmed with you before any payment. A “from” price is never a dead end.
Can I cancel my order?+
Yes — free cancellation any time before your order moves into “In Progress” (when Minks starts making it). See our Terms & Policies.
How many changes can I make?+
Design projects include 3 changes after you approve the first concept. Beyond that, extra changes are quoted per project.
How do I send my reference photo?+
You can upload it on the product page, or email / WhatsApp an HD version after ordering. For the best result: good lighting, everyone clearly visible, and as high-resolution as you have.
How long will my order take?+
Each product shows an indicative turnaround, which starts once your details are confirmed. During busy periods the wait can grow a little — we’ll keep you posted.
How much is delivery?+
From R135via The Courier Guy (1–3 days), confirmed with your final total. Outlying areas and bulkier items may cost more. Collection may be possible for some orders — we’ll let you know.
Will the printed colours match my screen?+
They may vary slightly — screens use RGB light and printers use CMYK ink, and paper finish affects the look. This is normal for print.
